Jutta Roosen's research focuses on food choices by consumers in their social and cultural context. Based on this approach she analyses consequences for food markets and policy. Jutta studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Bonn and Washington State University (USA) and she received her Ph. D. in Economics at Iowa State University (USA). Jutta is Fellow of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association and serves as President of the European Association of Agricultural Economists and co-editor of Food Policy.
